Senior Day at the Capitol is a day that the Texas Senior Advocacy Coalition
and groups from all over the state of Texas gather with the theme, “Seniors—the Heart of Texas.” It is a day to celebrate the contributions older adults have made and will continue to make to the state of Texas.
The program includes entertainment and guest speakers from across the state who are dedicated to protecting the interests of older adults across Texas. Following the presentations, hundreds of Texas seniors and advocates enter the legislature to meet with state Representatives and Senators about the various issues facing older adults.
Thank you to all of those who participated in Senior Day at the Capitol 2019!
Your legislators heard you... SENIOR ADULTS MATTER!
